Ended Spring Break with Uncle Levi

Here is a pic of Levi with us today...

Here are some pics from the wedding...read below for the whole story.

My Aunt Joy is an INCREDIBLE person who is very faithful to God. She decided in her twenties that she would take care of my Grandmommy who was not in great health. Because of that decision my Aunt Joy never married.

She is one of the most generous and kind people that I know! In an age where no one ever mails cards anymore, my Aunt Joy NEVER misses a birthday or holiday or anniversary. My grandmommy passed away several years ago and when she did I know that Aunt Joy was not sure that she would ever marry.

At that point she was in her late forties...but God was faithful to my Aunt Joy and he brought along Levi. I got to be matron of honor in the wedding a year ago Valentine's Day...she got married on my birthday.

My Aunt Joy and I have always had a special bond. All of my family lived in Texas when I was little, but then all moved to North Carolina when I was like five...I cried and cried when my Aunt Joy left!

I was not sure what I was going to think of Levi and I told him that he could not marry my Aunt Joy if I didn't like him...well he is GREAT! It is just like God to bring along the perfect person. He travels a lot and has been able to come and see us twice in the last year. He got to come and play dominoes and visit with us this afternoon and it is always nice to see him! He has a heart for God and loves my Aunt Joy like CRAZY!
